Learn About TCMI Church
TCMI Church is established by Biblical truth and committed to reaching the lost, equipping the church, and serving our community. We do this through prayer, teaching, and impartation of the Word of God. We encourage every person who calls TCMI their church home to understand who they are in Christ and walk in their God-given purpose in every area of their life.
What We Believe
The core convictions that shape everything we do as a church family.
The Word
We believe the Old and New Testaments of the Bible are the inspired Word of God in the original writings without error and full revelation of His will for the salvation of men. They are the divine and final authority for Christian faith and life.
God
We believe that there is only one true God (Deuteronomy 6:4). He is the creator of all things, infinitely and perfectly existing in three Manifestations: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Jesus
We believe that Jesus Christ was God manifest in the flesh (1 Timothy 3:16). He was true God and true Man, conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He died on the cross, the complete and final sacrifice for our sins according to the Scriptures. Furthermore, He rose from the dead and ascended into heaven to perfect all things.
Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit is the supernatural power of God available to all believers, empowering them to walk in newness of life. We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues (Acts 2:4).
Man
We believe that man was created in the image of God but fell into sin and is therefore lost. Only through repentance of sins and the born-again experience (John 3:5) can salvation and spiritual life be obtained.
Salvation
We believe that the shed blood of Jesus Christ and His resurrection provide the only means for justification and salvation. Salvation is for all who believe, receive, and are born of the Water and the Spirit by faith (John 3:5, John 3:16).
Baptism
We believe in water baptism by immersion in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sin. Through baptism we identify with the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ (Romans 6:3-6; Colossians 2:11-14; Acts 2:38).
Church
We believe that the true Church is composed of all persons who, through saving faith in Jesus Christ, have been regenerated by the Holy Spirit and are united together in the body of Christ, of which He is the head.
The Gifts of the Spirit
We believe in the manifestation of the gifts of the Holy Spirit: tongues, interpretation of tongues, prophecy, words of knowledge and wisdom, discerning of spirits, faith, working of miracles, healings, helps, and government (Mark 16:15-18, Acts 5:16, 2 Corinthians 12:1-12).
